A symposium tagged Memories of a legend on the Niger, aimed at honouring the late Dim Emeka Ojukwu, comes up, Wednesday, in Asaba, Delta State
A statement by the Secretary General of Anioma Renaissance, Mr. Sylver Oforgu, said the “symposium is not only to honour the legend of our time, Dim Emeka Ojukwu, but to also remember forgotten heroes of our dear country in general and Anioma in particular.”
He added that the symposium was being organised by the Anioma Renaissance and retired Army, Navy, Air Force officers club of Nigeria, Asaba chapter, in conjunction with Grand Hotel.
Chief Sunny Odogwu, Ojukwu’s long-time associate and former Chief of Defence Staff of Biafra, Col. Okwechime, Col. Joe Achuzia, President General of Aka Ikeng, Dr. Sylvanus Ebigwei and royal fathers, including the governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan are expected to grace the event
