Robin Thicke Arrested in New York For Smoking Marijuana


Top American-Canadian R&B singer-songwriter, musician, Robin Thicke was arrested yesterday, Friday, February 17, 2012 in New York for marijuana possession, law enforcement says.

The 34-year-old Soul Train award winner was caught lighting up a joint in the afternoon while sitting in a Black SUV parked near the Madison Square Park, Manhattan, according to law enforcement. Reports say Thicke was ‘very cooperative’ and that he even took time to sign autographs for a couple of people.

Thicke was given a desk appearance ticket and released soon after. A rep for the singer has not yet made any comment.

Thicke’s last album ‘Love after war’ was released in December 2011.
