3 Ibadan Policemen Die Chasing Armed Robbers

At least 3  policemen attached to the Oyo State Government’s special security squad, Operation Burst, died on Thursday morning in Samonda, Ibadan, while trying to apprehend a gang of suspected armed robbers.
The driver of the policemen’s Hilux van lost control at a sharp bend and crashed into a Toyota Serena and a commercial motorcycle.

The three policemen died instantly while the driver of the van survived.
The occupants of the Toyota car, including a female, were rushed to the hospital, although it was not clear if they survived.
