The prosecution slammed a two count charge of assault and malicious damage on the 35 year old businessman.
The accused, who resides at Aboru in Alimosho council area, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
But the prosecutor, Insp. Lugard Ahonle insisted that the accused committed the offences on 15 December last year at Borepo Street, Aboru.
He said the accused assaulted one Bose Adedeji when he went to her apartment to collect the money he claimed she owed him.
“Bose refused her entry, insisting that she did not owe him any money and while Alonge was trying to enter by force, he damaged the gate, a door and a television set, all valued at N80, 000.
“The accused gave the woman punches on her left eye which she is still treating,” Ahonle told the court.
He said the offences contravened Sections 170 and 409 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Lagos State.
Magistrate F. F. Adeeyo granted the accused bail in the sum of N70, 000 with one surety in like sum.
She adjourned the case to 12 November for mention.
