4 people were confirmed dead on Sunday after a Toyota Tundra truck and a
Nissan Primera car collided at the entrance to the Ogun State Governor’s Office
on the Presidential Boulevard in Abeokuta, the state capital.
The driver of the truck, who was driving inward Abeokuta, was said to be making a call when he lost control of the vehicle, slid over the median and crashed into the oncoming car.
Two other victims of the accident who were said to have sustained serious injuries are now laying critical ill at the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta.
Traffic officials raced to the scene and were assisted by members of the public in moving the dead and injured to the hospital.(punchng)
