According to Vanguard's report, this development came on a day Senate President, Senator David Mark; Chief Tony Anenih; wife of Benue State governor, Mrs. Dooshima Suswam, among other dignitaries, visited the governor in the hospital to commiserate with him.
According to a source yesterday, “we are very positive that His Excellency will leave the hospital any moment from now.
“But the hospital would continue to monitor his full recovery and offer therapy even from the Government House to fast track his recovery.
“His recuperation rate has been very excellent, and of course we anticipate that he can function at his duty post, so there is no medical reason to unnecessarily keep him here.”
The source said the governor’s recovery rate was quite fast following his rapid recovery from the surgery carried out on his hip last Friday night.
Vanguard findings also revealed that besides the Senate President, former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Tony Anenih, as well as wife of Benue State governor, Mrs Dooshima Suswam, paid sympathy visit to the governor yesterday afternoon.
The hospital source said: “As at this afternoon, the Senate President, Chief Tony Anenih and wife of governor of Benue State have been here to see His Excellency.”
Special Adviser to the governor on Media,Mr Jacob Edi, also confirmed the visits of Senate President, Anenih as well as Mrs Suswam to Gov Wada’s bed side.
